You should not assume that any member of your staff knows (1) that they should not leave the scene of an accident, (2) that they should contact law enforcement authorities and emergency response personnel (if applicable) immediately, and (3) that they should report the accident as soon as is practical to the designated person at your business. Having a well-communicated procedure in place before an incident happens is very important.
